It felt like we were walking in the pages of a National Geographic when we distributed water filters to the Masaai tribe in northern Tanzania.
Thankfully the Sawyer water filter is easy to transport when these nomadic people move to new places. Their round huts set in pasture land for grazing animals are intriguing and each husband has as many wives as he can financially support. We heard of one family with 200 children and the wealthy husband who provided a school for their education.
