UGANDA
Upon learning that four thousand desperate people in Uganda were displaced and living in tents made out of sticks and corn stalks with no access to clean water or sanitation facilities, we teamed up with Impact Nations and the Ugandan Water Project to distribute 350 water filters, construct two spring boxes and drill one well.
The water filter distribution went very smoothly as the government authorities in charge helped to organize the process. We easily trained the community to properly operate and maintain the filters. The spring boxes helped to remove heavy sediment so that the water filters would last longer. It was such a joy and privilege to be able to serve these beautiful people by providing them with safe, clean drinking water in Jesus name.
